Host a stop on the 610 Netrun#

Once a year, dozens of hackers, makers, students, and tech-curious locals spend an entire Saturday afternoon and evening moving as a group through five Easton-area business locations. At each stop they buy food and drinks, hang out, and solve friendly hacking challenges hosted right there in your space.

Hosting a stop is FREE — you reserve an area for the group for roughly 45–60 minutes during the crawl window, and DEF CON 610 handles the challenges, scoring, and crowd.

5 Venues on the route / 7 hours / 50+ Engaged attendees

Why host a stop?#

  • Foot traffic & sales: A guaranteed group of paying customers arrives together and stays put while they tackle the challenges at your location, real covers during your window, not a quick pass-through.
  • Community goodwill: You become a visible supporter of the Lehigh Valley’s hacker and maker scene. This is a passionate, loyal community that remembers and returns to the businesses that back them.
  • Brand exposure: Your venue is named across our event promotion, social posts, the route flyer, RSVP page, and day-of signage, putting your name in front of a sharp, plugged-in local tech crowd.
  • Good vibes, low hassle: The afternoon-to-evening timing fills seats during a slower part of a Saturday, and the crew is laid-back, social, and easy to host.

What hosting actually involves#

  • Reserving an area, a few tables, or a section for our group for roughly 45–60 minutes during the crawl window.
  • Letting us run a casual, self-contained CTF challenge in that spaces, it’s all on laptops and phones, nothing disruptive.
  • DEF CON 610 staff handle the challenges, scoring, and crowd. You just provide the space and the service your guests are already paying for.

What DEF CON 610 brings#

  • A pre-organized, RSVP’d group that shows up ready to spend.
  • All challenge content, equipment, and on-site coordination.
  • Promotion of your venue across our channels before and during the event.
  • A friendly, respectful crew, this is a community event, not a rowdy bar crawl.
