610 Netrun#

Formerly the DEF CON 610 Pub Crawl CTF.

Once a year DC610 turns downtown Easton into a capture-the-flag board. Flags are hidden in and around the venues we love. You and your team walk the route, solve what you find, and score points. Same event we’ve run for years, new name.

We’ve decided on a bit of a re-brand this year. The DC610 Hacker Pubcrawl was great for our first 6 events, but we’re so much more than a pubcrawl, and we’re definitely NOT adults only. We welcome anyone with a curious mind, and a passion for puzzles and technology, including students, minors, and even kids! So come to the 610 Netrun, for an all-ages good time exploring downtown Easton, PA, and putting your brain to work.

When & where#

  • Date: Saturday, November 7th, 2026
  • Kickoff: Easton Public Market, at noon Eastern
  • Route noon - 7:00PM: TBD — downtown Easton, PA. 5 stops are planned
  • Head to the final location: 7:00PM Vault Brewing, Easton
  • Scorebord Closes: 8:00PM, Scoring/awards follow

How to play#

  1. Register. Visit our Meetup Event Page for the 610 Netrun, and mark that you’re coming. (This just helps us plan for how many to expect)
  2. Form a team. Our scoreboard allows teams, of up to 4. Bring friends! You can form a team of 1 if you prefer.
  3. Get the scoreboard. The scoreboard will be located here and runs CTFd.
  4. Walk the route and hunt flags. Flags are physical, digital, and everything in between. Bring a laptop or a phone you’re comfortable working from.
  5. Submit before time’s up. Submit flags as you find them! All of the challenges will be brought to Vault Brewing at 7:00PM, and you get one last shot at them until 8:00PM.

What to bring#

  • A laptop preferred, but whatever device you like to hack from
  • Something to take notes in
  • Comfortable shoes — this is a walking event
  • Cash or card for food and drinks at the venues

Rules#

  • Be good to the venues. They host us because we’re welcome guests — tip your bartenders and servers.
  • Don’t attack anything that isn’t a flag. Venue networks, venue systems, and other patrons are off limits.
  • Don’t destroy, move, or hide physical flags. Leave them for the next team.
  • Drinking is optional. The Netrun is playable start to finish stone sober, and nobody scores extra for drinking.
  • The DC610 Code of Conduct applies for the entire event.
  • Flag builders’ calls are final.
  • Flag builders are not eligible for points scored on their own challenges.
